My Beauty Insider Picks

I’m currently on this journey of transitioning my beauty regimen to clean ingredients. Therefore, you may have noticed a few ‘clean at Sephora’ logo items on the graphic above. The transition is a process as it takes testing out products to truly find what works for you, so this sale is perfect me right now. Most of the products listed are from my Sephora.com Loves List. Some I will definitely purchase during the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale and others will remain on my list until I’m really in need or ready for a change.

Let’s begin shall we…

One: Milk Makeup Kush High Volume Mascara – I am a huge fan of mascara but I never stick to just one. I definitely have my favorites but trying different brands has always been something I do when it comes to mascara. This Milk Makeup mascara contains hemp-derived cannabis seed oil that fuses to your lashes providing the volume you want while keeping them hydrated.

Two: Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™ Mask – I like to do a mask treatment once a week (usually Monday night) and have heard nothing but great things about Drunk Elephant’s Babyfacial. It’s a lightweight mask that will help improve skin texture and provide a more youthful appearance with their one of a kind AHA blend. Very excited to add it to my Monday night self-care routine. I recently wrote about my obsession with Biossance. They have great masks but I always enjoy trying other brands. I’ll never turn down good clean skincare.

Three: Caudalie Beauty Elixir – This is a setting / toning spray. When it comes to setting spray I typically only use them for special occasions, like when I need that extra help with keeping my makeup in it’s place. Most setting sprays are alcohol based and can lead to dry skin if used everyday. The Claudalie Beauty Elixir is not alcohol based and its sole purpose is to provide moisture while setting and toning your skin. And of course providing the perfect radiance to your skin.

Four: Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint – This skin tint can be an everyday option for face makeup. A quick easy step for a light coverage with a glowy sunlit finish. It comes in 8 different shades and also includes SPF. I’m currently using the Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer from Bare Minerals and it seems to be working out fine. So the sunshine skin tint will stay on my Sephora Loves List until it’s time to replace.

Five: Benefit Gimme Brow + Volumizing Eyebrow Gel – My eyebrows are horrible. They are super thin and I have bald patches from over plucking during the 90s when having no eyebrows was a thing (so annoying). So basically anything that claims to add eyebrow volume and definition I am all about it. This eyebrow gel contains tiny mircofibers that adhere to the skin and brow hairs giving it that natural volume I NEED.

Six: Cover FX Cream Foundation – This cream foundation is from Cover FX which is a clean beauty brand that I’ve been wanting to try more of. So within my transition to clean beauty this will be my first foundation on the list to try.

Seven: Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer – I haven’t used a primer in a while. It’s just a step I always forget about and have never truly noticed a difference. Tatcha makes incredible products and I absolutely love their take on the Japanese Geisha rituals. Although this product most likely will not make it into my daily routine, I am still looking forward to it. This is a good product to take advantage of during the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale.

Eight: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector – I have dark circles and under-eye bags for days! I usually go for a light/medium concealer and pack it on until my dark circles vanish. But that typically leads to applying too much makeup under my eyes along with cracks and creases. Blah! So I’m going to try the color correcting method. Which is to apply a thin layer of the Magic Vanish Color Corrector and follow with your favorite concealer. Although Charlotte Tilbury’s products are not considered clean they still eliminate a lot of the toxic ingredients that most brands include.

Nine: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Illumination – This setting powder is meant to provide a more hydrated flawless finish. Rather the a matte finish that most setting powders leave. More hydration is what I’m looking for. I typically only apply setting powder under my eyes, therefore, it tends to look super dry. I’m desperately hoping this will be the powder of my dreams.

Ten: Ilia Multi-Stick – I’m pretty excited about this product. I’ve been on a cream blush kick lately. I love the radiant finish of a cream blush but I have been wanting to find a clean brand that I can replace my current one with once it’s gone. The Ilia multi-stick provides a sheer cheek color and lip tint with buildable coverage.

Eleven: Herbivore Jade Facial Roller – These facial rollers have become extremely popular. I wasn’t about it at first but I’ve read more about the long term benefits of facial massages and I’m eager to give it shot. Facial rollers support lymphatic drainage and help to reduce puffiness. I’m still unsure if this is some beauty fad and is simply just a pretty facial tool. With that said, I’m looking forward to putting it to the test.

Let me know if you’ve used any of these products and what you plan to buy during the sale.
