The cost of razor heads for a decent razor can be ridiculous. When I first heard of Billie I thought the concept was great so I was instantly interested but not entirely sold. Until I went on their site and saw that the Billie razor starter kit, which includes the razor and two razor cartridges, was only $9. This may all sound too good to be true but honestly, the best part is that these razors are amazing and truly work. My legs can be sensitive to razors so the quality is very important. I’m a leave my razor in the shower kind of girl and unfortunately it has caused many rusted razors in the past. Luckily, I have not had any issues with Billie razors. Again, another reason why I back this brand and why I am hooked.

Native is a deodorant company who never uses aluminum, parabens or sulfates in any of their products, and vet each ingredient to ensure it is safe and effective. I was extremely skeptical about “natural” deodorants because I always heard that they do not work. Therefore, this was a tough sell for me. It wasn’t until my underarms had become extremely irritated by regular deodorants that I decided to do some research. After reading about aluminum and the affects it has on your skin over time, I felt that giving this brand a shot was well worth it.
They have a very candid approach and tell you straight up that there is a transition period when switching to a non-aluminum deodorant. This transition takes about two weeks for your body to adjust. It’s quite insane that we apply aluminum to our skin and our bodies become accustom to it. It’s been two years since I’ve made the switch and within that time Native has made drastic improvements to their formula.

In 2018, Native landed shelf space at Target gaining more attention than before. However, previous customer feedback caused Native to removed their baking soda ingredient that caused irritation to sensitive skin types. Not being sensitive to baking soda, my Native purchase from Target was a let down. This ingredient is vital for the chemistry of my body I immediately noticed the difference from my previous orders.
One day I miraculously received an email from Native stating they were introducing a new and improved formula. They created a separate sensitive skin collection and put back the baking soda ingredient in their regular collection. Best of all they added Milk of Magnesia to help eliminate odor and absorb wetness. Receiving this email was like a sign from the body odor Gods.
