Yes, I started a blog and I am so freaking excited about it. Let’s be honest the world probably doesn’t need another blog, right? At least that what I’ve always told myself over and over as a way for me to not start one. What was I afraid of? Who knows, maybe I felt no one would read it. But look at me now, I am over that negative thinking and just going for it. So here is my blog and I appreciate that you decided to take the time to check it out. I plan to share all the things I am passionate about: beauty tips, personal style, beauty favorites, travel, family, and possibly more.
This Is Me
I have many passions and aspirations that I can’t wait to share with my readers. I want this to be a place where you learn something new that can really make things easier for you. I like to find ways that make my life easier when it comes to all processes of life. Sometimes we get stuck in our ways and it takes that friend (me) to help you get out. My tips and tricks and life hacks are all focused on making things a little bit simpler so we can get back to living.
Style and Beauty
Growing up I was always into makeup and fashion. I was that friend in high school who did your makeup for prom and was that girl who had her mom sew up her own dress design. Throughout my adult life I’ve had great opportunities working in cosmetics as a Makeup Artist and in the apparel industry as a Product Developer. I love sharing the things I’ve learned but also enjoy educating myself on new ways and learning new skills.
I am a lover for all things pretty, but my passion for fashion goes deeper than just pretty clothes. You’ll learn all about how I replenish my wardrobe with seasonal shopping and capsule wardrobes. Along with ways on how we can all help reduce the mountains of apparel waste we are creating.
As for beauty, I believe that skin comes first. I look forward to sharing my skincare tips and tricks along with my favorite products. I’ve come to understand my skin and hope to help you understand yours as well.
Family and Travel
I am a momma and a wife. My family means more to me than anything in this world. So, it’s inevitable that I would blog about them. My husband who is in the Military is truly a wonder. He’s a fantastic husband and the best father to our daughter. We are California natives that were previously living in Germany and have relocated to Pennsylvania in August 2019. As a family we love to travel and explore, I’d love for you to follow our journey on Instagram.
