pregnancy pillow
I have heard many mixed reviews about pregnancy pillows. The fact is some women love them and some just can’t stand them. For me, it was a lifesaver. I like it best for when my belly begins to pop out and needs that extra support to help me sleep through the night. We don’t know how we’ll like them until we try it for ourselves. If pregnancy is causing you to have wack sleep, a pregnancy pillow is probably a must have for you.
hydro flask
I’m sure you’ve heard it a million times, drink water. But it’s true, drinking a ton of water during your pregnancy is extremely important. Having a hydro flask to carry around (especially working mama’s) will help you remember to drink your water and keep you in control of your intake.
comfortable leggings
Obviously, we want to be comfortable during our pregnancies. But for some reason not all maternity clothes are comfortable. When it comes to maternity leggings most of us prefer comfort and quality. These leggings are a must have because they provide exactly that and can be worn throughout your entire pregnancy.
honest mama body oil
I’ve talked about this oil in a previous self-care blog post and discussed how it’s basically become a must have in my everyday routine, and will remain there even after this pregnancy. This body oil is just that good.
prenatal vitamins
Take your prenatal pills, is probably something else you’ve heard a million times. But again, it is another necessity for us prego’s. The Ritual prenatal vitamins are packed with the essentials that we need. AND THAT IS IT! Which is what I love about this brand and their vitamins.
belly support band
Having a support belt like this Bellaband is a must have for early pregnancy – when your pants begin to feel a little too snug. It gives you the option to still wear your favorite jeans while providing proper coverage and comfort. Later on throughout your pregnancy you’ll love it for the extra belly support.
comfortable walking shoes
First of all, sciatica is a B**ch! If you’re like me and suffer from terrible back/butt/knee/hip/foot pain during pregnancy, then you will love these Nike Air Max shoes. I experienced pain early on in my pregnancy, so these bad boys were a purchase I’ve been able to enjoy for quite a while now. They have become a staple in my wardrobe and I now want them in every color. Anyway, they’re pretty awesome even if you aren’t pregnant.
belly mask
Skin care does not have to stop at your face and décolleté. Especially when you’re pregnant. So why not give that belly some extra lovin’ and let it soak up the benefits of this belly mask.
nursing bra
Having fuller breasts throughout your pregnancy (minus the other changes) can be pretty fun. Well, that is if you’re typically smaller in that area like myself. I’m sure others may disagree and say it’s a pain.
However, as your breast began to prepare for baby it’s a good idea to bring in some comfortable nursing bras. I love these sports bra type nursing bras. They’re comfortable enough to wear to bed but also provide enough support to wear throughout the day.
what to expect
I received the book, What to Expect When You’re Expecting during my first pregnancy and it was such a great resource for me. I was able to follow along from the very beginning and gain a clear understanding of what was going on with my pregnancy week-by-week. There is no wonder why this book is so popular and has become a must have for so many pregnant women. It’s extremely helpful and packed with valid information regarding you and baby.
